Our 17th-century farmhouse has quite the story to tell. Here at Manor House Hotel & Spa in Alsager, we've transformed what was once a working farm into something rather special, while keeping the original character intact. You'll find us tucked away in the East Cheshire countryside, about 6 miles northwest of Stoke, where the pace naturally slows down. The spa is where most guests lose track of time completely. We've created an outdoor garden space with a swim-up bar - yes, you can sip drinks without leaving the water. The hanging daybeds are perfect for afternoon dozing, and our thermal experiences include hydrotherapy pools and saunas that help melt away whatever stress you arrived with. It's won us several awards, though we think the real prize is watching guests emerge looking years younger. For meetings and weddings, we offer modern conference facilities alongside more intimate spaces throughout the property. Our 50 rooms each have their own personality, with soft sheets and décor that brings the outside in. Business groups appreciate the quiet setting for focused work, while wedding parties love how the countryside backdrop needs no extra decoration. The Stables Bar & Grill occupies the oldest part of our building. We work with local farmers and suppliers to fill our kitchen, turning their ingredients into the kind of hearty dishes this building has seen for centuries. Our wine list covers old and new worlds, and we keep several local ales on tap for those who prefer their drinks with provenance.
