Our Garden Rooms at Bingham Riverhouse open directly onto a heated canopied terrace where wedding guests often gather for champagne as the Thames flows past just meters away. We're housed in a Georgian townhouse that's been thoughtfully restored, keeping the original features that make each celebration feel special - the high ceilings, period details, and those river views that photographers particularly love capturing during golden hour. The flexibility of our Garden Rooms really comes into its own for weddings. We can configure the moveable walls to create an intimate space for 30 guests or open everything up to accommodate 150 for your reception. Many couples choose to hold their ceremony in one configuration, then while guests enjoy drinks on the terrace, we reconfigure for the wedding breakfast. The heated canopy means the terrace works year-round - we've seen December weddings where guests happily mingled outside with the patio heaters keeping everyone comfortable. Chef Vanessa Marx and her team create wedding menus using ingredients from local suppliers we've worked with for years. Whether you're planning a formal three-course wedding breakfast or prefer relaxed sharing platters, everything's prepared fresh in our kitchens. The Drawing Room Bar becomes particularly popular later in the evening - our bartenders know how to keep the celebration going with cocktails mixed to your preferences. For wedding parties staying overnight, we have 15 guestrooms spread throughout the building. Each room's different - named after French poets and furnished with those unexpected touches like retro telephones and healing crystals that guests often mention they enjoyed finding. The morning after, we serve breakfast in the Riverhouse Restaurant where your wedding party can gather one last time before heading home.
