Step through the heavy oak doors of Blakesley Hall Museum and you're transported to 1590, when this Tudor house first welcomed guests. We've carefully restored every timber beam and leaded window to share the story of Elizabethan life with our visitors, and now we open these historic spaces for your meetings, celebrations and weddings. Our Great Hall forms the heart of your event experience. Original wood paneling surrounds the space where we can seat up to 40 guests beneath the Tudor ceiling beams. Period furnishings remain in place, creating an atmosphere you won't find in any modern venue. For larger gatherings, our Gallery provides a more contemporary setting while maintaining the character of the building - we can accommodate 100 standing guests here or arrange seating for 60. The grounds themselves become part of your event. Our herb garden fills the air with lavender and rosemary, while the old orchard provides a peaceful backdrop for photographs or outdoor refreshments. We're just five miles from Birmingham city centre, yet the gardens create such tranquility that the city feels much further away. We understand every event has different needs. Our team can arrange catering to match your requirements, from formal dining to relaxed buffets. The building offers excellent accessibility with our on-site parking accommodating all your guests comfortably.
