The craft beer revolution hit 119 Cowley Road back in 2017, and we've been pouring fresh perspectives ever since. Just a short walk past Magdalene College in the south-east of the city centre, BrewDog Oxford has become the go-to spot for anyone curious about what beer can really taste like. Our Cicerone-trained team genuinely loves talking beer - whether you're after a hop-forward IPA, a rich stout, something sour that makes your taste buds dance, or just a crisp lager to wash down dinner. We keep our taps rotating with cutting-edge brews, but we've also got ciders, wines, and spirits for those mixing up their night. The bar fills with a proper buzz most evenings, especially during our daily Happy Hour from 4 to 7pm when cocktails go 2-for-1. Food-wise, we do stacked burgers that need both hands, Korean BBQ wings with proper heat, and plant-based dishes that even the meat-lovers order twice. Wednesday nights get particularly lively with our unlimited wings deal - we call it Wings Wednesday and the place absolutely heaves. We've hosted everything from birthday parties that spill across the whole bar to intimate beer education sessions where groups learn about brewing methods and flavor profiles. The space works brilliantly for private parties - we can section off areas or take over the whole venue depending on what you need. Dogs are welcome (we keep water bowls behind the bar), wheelchairs can access everywhere, and the Wi-Fi actually works if you need to pretend you're working while sampling our latest sour. Whether you're planning a proper party, organizing drinks for your team, or want somewhere different for your next celebration, we've got the space, the drinks, and definitely the atmosphere to make it work.
