The private dining room at Carluccio's Newcastle sits on the first floor of our beautiful Georgian building on Grey Street, with windows overlooking the Theatre Royal. We've hosted everything from Italian-style celebrations to working lunches in this space, which comfortably seats up to 25 guests. Our team runs the restaurant from 8am to 11pm most days (9am to 10:30pm on Sundays), so we're flexible with timing for your event. The private room comes with its own bar and dedicated staff, giving you complete privacy while still enjoying the energy of our main restaurant below. We've set up the space with contemporary furnishings that complement the historic architecture of the building. For parties and celebrations, we serve our full menu of authentic Italian dishes - the Penne Giardiniera and Risotto al Funghi are particularly popular choices for groups. Our kitchen prepares everything fresh, using regional Italian ingredients, and we can arrange sharing platters or set menus depending on your preference. The Chicken Milanese always goes down well at evening events. Beyond the dining room, guests often browse our delicatessen and food shop downstairs, where we stock Italian specialties like fresh bread, wild mushrooms, and truffles. It's become a nice touch for corporate groups to pick up gifts after their meetings.
