Our English Heritage-listed Ballroom remains the jewel in our crown—we've carefully restored every detail of its original 1930s grandeur, from the handcrafted chandeliers to the gilded columns that frame the space. Up to 500 guests can mingle here during cocktail receptions, while seated dinners accommodate 240 comfortably beneath the concealed lighting that creates such an intimate atmosphere despite the grand scale. Just outside, our Ballroom Reception area continues the Art Deco story with its striking mirrored walls and gleaming marble floors. We find this space works beautifully for pre-dinner drinks or as a standalone venue for 240 guests who appreciate the authentic 1930s design elements we've preserved. For more intimate celebrations, our French Salon captures a completely different mood with its warm wood-paneled walls and Renaissance-inspired details. Connected to our Drawing Room—complete with working 18th-century fireplaces—these spaces offer flexibility for smaller wedding parties or corporate dinners that require a more personal touch. Our Clarence Room, the largest of our Mezzanine Suites, floods with natural daylight and showcases our signature Art Deco aesthetic while incorporating all the modern technology today's events demand. We regularly host receptions here for up to 100 guests, and the built-in sound and lighting systems mean transforming the space for different moments throughout your event happens effortlessly. Our dedicated event managers work alongside you from initial planning through to the final toast, while our kitchen team creates bespoke menus tailored to your vision. With wireless internet throughout, advanced audiovisual capabilities, and convenient breakout areas, we accommodate everything from grand weddings to focused business conferences, each receiving the meticulous attention to detail that defines the Claridge's experience.
