Our conference rooms at Cleaver & Wake overlook Nottingham's Island Quarter, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame the city skyline and natural light fills the space throughout your meetings. We've designed our venue to accommodate everything from board meetings for 10 to conferences hosting up to 200 delegates, with each room featuring the blue and green color scheme that runs through our restaurant spaces. When MasterChef: The Professionals winner Laurence Henry joined us to lead our kitchen, we knew our corporate events would offer something special. Your delegates can enjoy working lunches featuring the same refined British cuisine served in our restaurant - perhaps our turbot cooked on the bone with champagne velouté or beef short rib finished over charcoal. Our menus change with the seasons, so March meetings might include spring lamb while October conferences feature game and root vegetables. The soft velvet upholstery in our meeting spaces creates a comfortable environment for long sessions, while our open-plan kitchen allows delegates to watch our chefs at work during breaks. We include everything in our day delegate packages - notepads, pens, microphones, AV equipment, and refreshments throughout the day. Our adjacent bar area becomes a natural networking space, where we serve our curated selection of cocktails, wines, and spirits. For multi-day conferences or evening receptions, we can arrange à la carte dinners in our main restaurant. Wedding receptions and private parties also work beautifully here, with those panoramic views creating a memorable backdrop. Our events team handles the logistics while you focus on your agenda, adjusting room layouts and managing technical requirements as needed. The Island Quarter location means easy access from the city center, with plenty of parking nearby for your attendees.
