Our ground floor serves as a chameleon of sorts - one night it's packed with music lovers for an intimate gig, the next it hosts a life drawing class or transforms into a supper club. The exposed brick and industrial features create the perfect backdrop for any creative gathering. We've invested in professional projection and audio equipment that artists and performers consistently praise, plus our fully licensed bar keeps the atmosphere flowing. Mark and Kate, who run the building, often greet you personally when you arrive. They've created more than just a venue - we're home to 16 working artists who rent affordable studio spaces upstairs, bringing constant creative energy to the building. This isn't just a place to host your party; it's where Newcastle's artistic community actually works and creates daily. For daytime events, companies love booking our space for meetings and workshops that need something different from the usual corporate setting. We've arranged flexible seating options with dedicated breakout areas, and Ernest Café nearby handles catering deliveries when needed. Our high-quality coffee setup keeps everyone energized throughout the day. Since adding our rooftop co-working space in 2023, we've expanded what's possible here. Built with recycled materials, it features soundproofed phone booths, ergonomic furniture, fast WiFi, and a roof garden where people actually take their coffee breaks.
