Fire up your next party at Dragonfly Cocktail Bar, where we've been mixing Edinburgh's finest cocktails since before it was trendy. Our home is a converted fire station on West Port, right around the corner from the Grassmarket, and we've kept all the character while adding our own twist. The main bar stretches up through two floors, with original chandeliers hanging between tropical plants that somehow thrive in our Edinburgh climate. We've got room for everyone - grab a spot at our long bar where you can watch our bartenders work their magic, head upstairs to the mezzanine for a bird's eye view of the action, or book The D'Low, our private room that fits 20-60 people comfortably. The D'Low comes with its own bar and sound system, so your group can party exactly how you want. Our cocktail menu mixes house creations with the classics everyone loves. We pour local beers and keep a solid wine list too, because we know not everyone's a cocktail person. The space transforms depending on what's happening - we've hosted everything from corporate conferences (yes, we have AV equipment and can sort buffets and tea service) to wild DJ nights, food pop-ups, and during August, we're packed with Fringe performers and their fans. The old fire station bones give us flexibility most bars don't have. We can rearrange seating for your specific needs, whether that's theatre-style for presentations or scattered cocktail tables for mingling. Our team knows how to work every type of event, from buttoned-up corporate gatherings to birthday bashes that go until closing. Being Edinburgh's oldest cocktail bar means we've learned what works.
