The old hops warehouse on Winchester Walk has been serving some of London's finest steaks since we transformed this Victorian building into Hawksmoor Borough. Step inside at 16 Winchester Walk, SE1 9AQ, and you'll find yourself surrounded by the original polished wood panels and parquet floors that have watched over Borough Market for generations. We've kept the building's character intact – the rich wooden surfaces, leather seating, and warm lighting create the kind of atmosphere where business dinners turn into long evenings and birthday celebrations stretch past midnight. Our bar runs almost the entire length of the restaurant, where our mixologists craft cocktails that rival the reputation of our steaks. The heart of what we do lies in our 35-day aged Yorkshire Longhorn beef. Whether you're sharing a T-bone for two or treating yourself to our superb fillet, each cut comes with your choice of sauces – the anchovy hollandaise and bone marrow gravy are particular favorites. Our Old Spot belly ribs with vinegar slaw have become legendary, and the bone marrow with onions on toast disappears from tables faster than we can prepare it. For private gatherings, our Cooks' Room seats up to 22 guests and features something special – an open kitchen where our chefs prepare the Beef Feasting menu right before your eyes. It's become the go-to space for corporate events and milestone celebrations. We've made sure everyone can enjoy what we offer. The restaurant is fully wheelchair accessible, and our spice-roasted cauliflower and other vegetarian dishes hold their own against any steak on the menu. Come Sunday, our slow roast rump with beef dripping potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, and bone marrow gravy draws crowds from across London.
