At Homewood, we like to think of our Georgian country house as a canvas where history meets creativity. Since opening our doors as a hotel in 1981, we've transformed this 1837 Victorian house into something rather special - a place where contemporary artworks hang alongside period features, and where our 20 acres of landscaped gardens provide the perfect backdrop for both intimate meetings and grand celebrations. Our individually styled rooms and suites each tell their own story. Some open onto private terraces where morning coffee tastes better with views across the Somerset countryside, while others feature hot tubs for those who appreciate a soak under the stars. We've found that our guests particularly love discovering the unexpected touches throughout the house - from the creative artworks adorning our walls to the modern indulgences we've thoughtfully added. The spa has become something of a sanctuary for our visitors. We offer bespoke treatments in our treatment rooms, and our therapists work with each guest to create exactly what they need. The indoor hydrotherapy pool flows seamlessly to our heated outdoor pool, where the panoramic views across Somerset make swimming feel like meditation. Our sauna and steam room complete the experience. For meetings and celebrations, we have several distinct spaces. The Chandelier Room accommodates up to 40 guests and works beautifully for board meetings or intimate wedding ceremonies. When larger groups book exclusive use, we can host up to 110 guests across our various rooms and grounds. Our dining domes on the terrace have proven particularly popular for private dinners and small gatherings. Our Olio Restaurant serves Mediterranean-inspired dishes crafted from ingredients sourced from local farms and suppliers. Whether dining inside, on the terrace, or in one of our unique dining domes, we create menus that complement your event perfectly. The bar and lounges provide additional spaces for informal meetings or evening receptions, while our extensive grounds offer endless possibilities for team activities or wedding photographs.
