Tudor beams stretch overhead in our Great Hall, where we've hosted everything from fairytale weddings to milestone birthday celebrations across five centuries. At Ketteringham Hall, we're fortunate to call this 15th-century manor home, tucked into 36 acres of Norfolk countryside just five miles from Norwich. Our parties unfold across multiple spaces - from the wood-panelled hall with its towering windows overlooking the lake, to the Victorian walled garden where summer celebrations spill onto manicured lawns. We can accommodate up to 150 guests comfortably, with the original architecture providing natural flow between rooms. Those high ceilings and period details create atmosphere without any decoration needed, though the flood of natural light through our large windows transforms the space beautifully at golden hour. The grounds themselves become part of your event. We've watched couples exchange vows beside our tranquil lake, seen cocktail receptions meander through the walled garden, and hosted cricket matches on our pitch during corporate away days. Our Orangery Tearoom serves as a charming spot for welcome drinks or morning-after brunches. For guests wanting to stay overnight, our luxury shepherd huts hidden in the woodland offer beds for a handful of visitors - they're particularly popular with wedding parties. Practically speaking, we're right off the A11 and A47, with plenty of parking for all your guests. The second floor provides storage space for caterers and entertainers, while our high-speed fibre broadband keeps everything connected. We even have the Orchard Nursery School on-site, which has proven surprisingly useful for guests with young children attending daytime celebrations. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, our mix of Tudor character and modern conveniences creates the foundation for memorable parties.
