Über Linden House
Every room at Linden House tells a different story of our Georgian past while serving modern needs. We occupy a Grade II listed building right on the River Thames in Hammersmith, where original features meet contemporary functionality across four floors of versatile spaces. Our Ballroom remains the crown jewel at 62 square meters, where Georgian sash windows frame river views and open onto the Front Terrace. We can accommodate 80 guests for standing receptions here, or arrange seating for 68 when you need a more formal dinner setup. The natural light streaming through those original windows creates an atmosphere that shifts beautifully throughout the day. Beyond the Ballroom, we maintain several distinct spaces - the Captain's Room, Commodore's Room, our traditional Boardroom, and the Members Bar. Each retains its own character while offering the flexibility modern events demand. Corporate teams use our boardroom-style meeting rooms for everything from client presentations to training sessions, while the Members Bar converts nicely into temporary office space for those needing a longer-term arrangement. We've equipped all our rooms with current AV technology and high-speed Wi-Fi comes standard. The building remains fully wheelchair accessible despite its historic nature. Running entirely on renewable energy reflects our commitment to preserving both the building's heritage and environmental responsibility. Our events team works closely with you whether you're planning a wedding celebration, corporate gathering, or private dinner. The riverside location provides a peaceful escape from central London while remaining easily accessible. Each room's configuration can be adjusted to suit your specific requirements, from intimate board meetings to larger receptions flowing between multiple spaces. We find the combination of Thames views, Georgian architecture, and modern amenities creates exactly the right environment for productive meetings and memorable celebrations alike.
