The wooden climbing frames at Marble Hill Playcentres have been bringing children together for nearly 50 years, right here in the heart of Twickenham's Marble Hill Park. We're a community charity that's grown around one simple idea: giving kids the freedom to play, explore, and just be kids. Our Adventure Playground is where the magic happens for 5 to 15-year-olds. Picture expansive wooden structures stretching across open spaces where children test their boundaries, make new friends, and create their own games. Our trained playworkers keep watch while letting kids take the lead in their play. It's the kind of place where shy children find their voice and confident ones learn to collaborate. For our younger visitors under 5, we run the One O'Clock Club - an outdoor wonderland packed with ride-ons, scooters, playhouses, and our much-loved sandpit. While little ones dig, ride, and explore, parents grab a coffee from our kiosk and actually get to finish a conversation with other adults. Every first Saturday of the month, we open our doors for something special: the SENsational Saturday Club. Children with disabilities or additional needs, along with their families and siblings, have the entire Adventure Playground to themselves in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. When it comes to parties, we've hosted everything from pirate-themed birthday bashes to family reunions. Our indoor and outdoor spaces adapt to whatever celebration you're planning, whether that's 20 excited five-year-olds or a larger gathering spread across our grounds. You'll find us on Richmond Road, TW1 2NL - just a short walk from St Margarets and Twickenham stations, with several bus routes stopping nearby. We're the place where muddy knees, big smiles, and childhood memories are made daily.
