The copper-finished lobby at Mercure Cardiff North Hotel tells the story of Tiger Bay's industrial heritage, with Welsh love spoons and miners' hats displayed alongside contemporary furnishings. We've created a space that honors our location in Llanedeyrn's historic docklands while providing everything modern meetings and weddings need. Our 11 meeting rooms flood with natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows, making long conference days feel less confined. The largest function space transforms beautifully for weddings, complete with its own private bar where your guests can celebrate without wandering through the main hotel. We can seat 150 for dinner here, with round tables that encourage conversation and plenty of room for dancing afterward. Each of our 132 recently refurbished bedrooms features 46-inch TVs, comfortable beds our housekeeping team takes particular pride in preparing, and tea and coffee facilities for those early morning preparation sessions.
