Step off the train at Exeter Central and you're looking at our front door. The Mercure Rougemont is proper Victorian - high ceilings, ornate cornices, the whole nine yards - but with heating that works and Wi-Fi in every corner. Our meeting rooms keep that period feel while being thoroughly practical. The AV setup is current generation, the chairs are actually comfortable for all-day sessions, and the air conditioning keeps everyone awake after lunch. We've got spaces for six or sixty, each with its own character but all with the kit you need to get business done. Location-wise, we're golden. Northernhay Gardens next door for those lunchtime walks, city center shops two minutes away, and both train stations within easy reach. The free parking's a bonus in central Exeter - your delegates won't be circling blocks looking for spaces. Our events team has handled everything from pharmaceutical training days to charity board meetings. They know when to be hands-on and when to fade into the background. Same goes for catering - whether you need working sandwiches or a proper three-course dinner, they'll sort it. The Victorian setting adds something intangible to events. Maybe it's the sense of permanence, or just that people relax a bit more in beautiful surroundings. Whatever it is, it works. Come see the spaces for yourself.
