The rugby pitches stretch out before you when you arrive at Newbury Rugby Club—five full-sized fields that serve as the backdrop for every event we host here. Our building sits right alongside, with 300 free parking spaces that mean your guests never have to hunt for a spot. We've got four distinct spaces that work for different occasions. The Wickens Suite is our largest room, holding up to 180 people, with its own balcony where guests can step out and watch matches on the main pitch below. The Kickers Bar runs the full length of one side of the building, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the pitch and a proper bar that keeps everyone happy during parties and celebrations. For smaller gatherings, our Langdon Lounge sits on the ground floor with French doors opening onto its own private patio—we can fit 60 people here comfortably, and the natural light makes it particularly good for daytime meetings. The Boardroom works brilliantly for groups up to 20, with a 48" LED screen for presentations and balcony access when you need a break. Room hire starts from £25 plus VAT, and we handle everything from corporate conferences to birthday parties, wedding receptions to fitness classes. Our kitchen team does buffets, three-course dinners, hog roasts, and barbecues—whatever suits your event. The outdoor space really comes into its own for summer barbecues, team-building days, and family fun events with live music. Every booking helps support our senior men's and women's teams plus all the youth rugby we run here. Whether you need somewhere for a board meeting, a murder mystery evening, or a full-scale wedding reception, we've got the space and flexibility to make it work.
