Über Opium Cocktail and Dim Sum Parlour
Behind an unmarked door in Chinatown lies something unexpected—a proper Shanghai hideaway that feels worlds away from the bustle outside. We've carved out three distinct spaces here at Opium, each with its own personality. Some nights you'll find guests huddled around the bartender's table, watching their drinks come to life. Others prefer the tucked-away corners where conversations flow as smoothly as our cocktails. The dim sum arrives fresh from our kitchen throughout the evening, because what's a good drink without something to nibble? We keep things comfortable with all the practical bits sorted—climate control for those packed Friday nights, solid WiFi when you need it, and yes, we're fully licensed till late. Our regulars love us for after-work drinks that turn into impromptu celebrations. Birthday groups appreciate the flexibility to spread out or keep things intimate. Just a quick walk from Leicester Square or Piccadilly Circus, so nobody's ever lost trying to find us. What makes us different? We're not trying to be the loudest spot in Chinatown. Instead, we've built something that feels like stepping into another era—but with better cocktails. Give us a ring to book your evening. We'll make sure it's one worth remembering.
