Our teams at ORTUS Conferencing and Events Venue on Grove Lane have been creating productive spaces for London's professional community since we first opened our doors. Working closely with the Maudsley Charity, we've developed over 1,500m² of flexible event space that brings together modern technology with a genuine sense of warmth. The Connect room serves as our flagship space, where we regularly host conferences for up to 140 attendees. We've equipped it with dual high-definition projectors and ceiling-mounted microphones that actually work properly - no awkward feedback or dead spots. Groups particularly appreciate how the natural light flows through the space, creating an environment where people stay alert through even the longest training sessions. For more intimate gatherings, our Adamson suite adapts to your needs. We can configure it for 80 guests in theatre style, or divide it into smaller sections when you need breakout spaces. The moveable walls mean we're hosting board meetings for 20 in the morning and workshop sessions for 50 in the afternoon. Between sessions, guests naturally gravitate to our ORTUS Café. Our kitchen team prepares fresh, healthy meals daily, and we're rather proud of our Fairtrade coffee selection. The outdoor seating area has become an unexpected networking hub - we often see delegates continuing discussions over lunch long after formal sessions end. Getting here couldn't be simpler. We're a short walk from Denmark Hill station, with Loughborough Junction, Peckham Rye and East Dulwich all nearby. Our location at 82-96 Grove Lane puts us within easy reach of central London while avoiding the chaos of Zone 1. We offer discounted rates for public sector organizations and charities, reflecting our commitment to supporting the wider community. High-speed WiFi reaches every corner of the building, and our technical support stays on hand throughout your event.
