Here at Rock Up Hull, we're primarily known for our 26 climbing walls that reach up to 8 meters high, but we've got something different to offer your business meetings too. Our upstairs meeting space overlooks the climbing centre from St Stephen's Shopping Centre, giving you a unique backdrop that's definitely more interesting than your typical conference room. We can configure the space to suit your needs - keep it as one large room for bigger presentations or divide it into two separate areas for breakout sessions or smaller team meetings. The rooms come equipped for business use, and our café downstairs means you won't have to venture far for refreshments. We serve everything from quick coffee breaks to full lunch spreads, depending on what your group needs. Fair warning though - we're an active climbing centre first and foremost. You'll hear the energy from below, with climbers tackling our 70+ challenges, kids enjoying the soft play area, and music keeping everyone motivated. While some groups find this atmosphere energizing for creative sessions or informal team meetings, it's not the quietest environment if you're planning formal presentations or conference calls. Our venue works particularly well for companies wanting to combine meetings with team-building activities. After your morning session, your group can head straight down to try the Vertical Drop Slide or test themselves on the Stairway to Heaven. We regularly host corporate groups who split their time between the meeting rooms and climbing walls. The meeting space reflects our active environment - functional and straightforward rather than polished corporate style. If you're looking for a conventional boardroom experience, we might not be the right fit. But if your team would appreciate somewhere different with the option to blow off steam afterwards, our combination of meeting facilities and climbing activities could be exactly what you need.
