The Rutland Hotel brings together Victorian character and modern functionality in our meeting spaces, making us Sheffield's largest independent 3-star hotel. We're just minutes from the University of Sheffield and Royal Hallamshire Hospital, which makes us particularly convenient for academic conferences and medical training sessions. Our two main meeting venues offer flexibility for different group sizes. The Dovedale Suite accommodates up to 85 delegates and works brilliantly for larger conferences and training days. For more intimate gatherings, our Edale Suite overlooks our landscaped gardens, creating a calming backdrop for board meetings and strategy sessions. Both rooms come fully equipped with everything you'd expect for professional presentations. We know the small details matter when you're organizing an event. That's why we include complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the building and offer full catering services that can handle various dietary requirements - whether you need working lunches, coffee breaks, or formal dining. Our 63 bedrooms mean delegates traveling from further afield can stay on-site, with rooms ranging from singles to executive doubles and suites. Each has its own bathroom, tea and coffee facilities, iron and ironing board, and hairdryer. Parking can be a headache in Sheffield, but we've got secure on-site spaces available for £9.00 per day. We're also one of the few business hotels that welcomes dogs (£10.00 per night), which we know matters to some of our regular clients. Our location puts you within easy reach of Sheffield city centre, the botanical gardens, and major transport links. The combination of our meeting facilities, accommodation, and catering services means we can handle everything from day-long training sessions to multi-day conferences, interviews, and even corporate celebrations when the work's done.
