We pour over 30 different beers every day at Shilling Brewing Company on West George Street, right where Glasgow's business district meets the city's social scene. Our copper brewing tanks stand behind glass walls, giving your party guests something to talk about while they sip their Unicorn IPA or Glasgow Red – both brewed just meters from where they're standing. The old bank building we call home was designed by James Miller back in 1930, and we've kept those high ceilings and grand windows that make the space feel special. For parties, we offer our "Pour Your Own Party" package in the Brewer's Room, which overlooks the fermentation tanks where we make everything from our Black Star Teleporter to seasonal experiments. This private area holds up to 52 guests comfortably, though smaller groups of eight can book just the Brewer's Room itself for more intimate celebrations. Pizza and beer go together naturally, so we installed a proper cupola oven that fires up hand-stretched dough throughout the day. Our pizza buffet comes as part of the party package – thin-base pizzas that actually taste of something, not the usual party food that sits around getting cold. We keep the taps flowing with our house brews plus guest beers from Scottish and international breweries, so there's always something new to try. Beyond private parties, we run trivia nights that get competitive, live music sessions that showcase local talent, and brewery tours where our brewers explain why we ferment at certain temperatures and how we get that citrus note in the IPA. The whole venue works for different group sizes – from birthday parties taking over the entire space to corporate teams booking just a corner for after-work drinks. We're open for casual drop-ins too, but booking ahead secures your spot and your preferred keg.
