The moment you step through our doors at Spitalfields Venue, you're greeted by soaring Tuscan columns and the warm glow of light streaming through clerestory windows. We've been hosting events in London's East End for years, and each gathering brings something new to our historic walls. Our main space, the Nave, transforms beautifully whether you're planning a wedding for 250 seated guests or a standing reception for up to 600. The mezzanine galleries create an almost theatrical atmosphere - we've seen everything from fashion shows to corporate conferences make use of this dramatic backdrop. Just last month, we hosted a charity gala where guests couldn't stop photographing the architectural details between courses. Downstairs in the Crypt, you'd never guess you're below ground. The space surprises everyone with how bright it feels, thanks to thoughtful lighting that plays off the original stone foundations. We've paired these historic elements with modern oak paneling, creating a versatile room that works equally well for board meetings of 60 or cocktail receptions for 300. Many couples use it as their dance floor after dinner upstairs. For more intimate gatherings, Hanbury Hall offers something completely different. The high ceilings and natural light pouring in make morning meetings feel energizing, while evening events take on a warm, welcoming glow. Our AV team works across all three spaces, handling everything from microphones to projection mapping - they're based on-site, so technical hiccups get sorted immediately. Getting here couldn't be easier - we're a short walk from both Liverpool Street and Aldgate stations.
