We pour our hearts into every cocktail and plate at Table Twenty Eight, right here in Glasgow's historic Merchant Square building. Our first-floor balcony has become the spot everyone asks about - it overlooks the entire square through those stunning original windows, and yes, we've got our own private bar up there just for your group. The kitchen team works with local suppliers who deliver fresh ingredients daily, which means our British menu changes with what's best right now. We've developed an extensive range of vegan and gluten-free dishes because we know how important it is that everyone at your party can eat well together. Our bartenders mix everything from perfectly balanced classics to their own creations using small-batch spirits and fresh ingredients. You can fit 40 people seated comfortably on the balcony, or 50 if you're having drinks and mingling. We've hosted everything here - raucous hen parties, intimate baby showers, corporate cocktail masterclasses where teams learn to shake and stir, birthday celebrations that go on until midnight (when we stop serving alcohol), and retirement parties where colleagues share stories over dinner. The space works brilliantly in any season. Summer means drinks on our outside patio or upstairs terrace, both covered by the square's glass roof so you're outdoors but protected. Winter brings a cozy atmosphere inside with all that natural light flooding through the merchant building's windows. We've installed a PA system for speeches or background music, and there's Wi-Fi throughout. The building has full wheelchair access and accessible toilets. Daily hire is available with minimum spends that vary depending on the day and time you're planning. Our events team handles the details while you enjoy your party in one of Glasgow's most atmospheric venues.
