Every weekend at Tarshish, our three floors come alive with the energy of celebrations and gatherings. From our spot on Wood Green High Road, just steps from the tube station, we've built something special - a Turkish and Mediterranean restaurant that transforms into one of North London's most versatile party venues. Our ground floor buzzes with the aromas of chargrilled meats and fresh seafood coming from the kitchen, while upstairs, Mor Bar sets a different tone entirely. This is where we host our live music nights every Friday and Saturday, with performers taking the stage backed by our professional audio system. The atmosphere shifts from dinner service to late-night celebration as the evening progresses. What really sets us apart for events is our second floor with its retractable roof. We can open it up for those perfect summer evenings, creating an open-air dining experience right in the heart of Wood Green. The space holds 300 guests comfortably across all floors, though we often arrange smaller gatherings on individual levels for more intimate celebrations. Our kitchen team prepares everything from traditional Turkish grills to Mediterranean seafood dishes, served alongside mezze platters perfect for sharing. The bar stocks carefully selected wines, craft cocktails, and mocktails - we've noticed our signature cocktails often become talking points at parties. We've hosted everything from engagement parties to corporate receptions, birthday celebrations to family reunions. Our dedicated parking means guests don't need to worry about finding spaces on busy weekend nights. We're open Monday to Thursday from 5pm to midnight, extending to 1am on Fridays and opening earlier at 3pm on weekends. Each event brings its own character, but they all benefit from our combination of authentic cuisine, flexible spaces, and that view over the High Road that never fails to impress.
