Über The Anthologist St Peter's Square
Right in the heart of Manchester overlooking St Peter's Square, we've created something special at The Anthologist. Our open kitchen fills the space with the aroma of seasonal British dishes while our bartenders craft cocktails at the copper-topped bar that catches the light just right in the evenings. We've got several spaces that work brilliantly for parties. The Snug tucked away from the main restaurant creates an intimate setting for smaller celebrations, while our main dining area opens up for bigger gatherings. Our covered terrace means you can enjoy drinks outside whatever Manchester's weather decides to do - the retractable roof and heaters keep everyone comfortable year-round. Our chefs prepare everything from hearty burgers to fragrant curries and fresh pasta, working with seasonal ingredients to keep the menu interesting. We run mixology masterclasses where your group can learn to shake and stir their own cocktails, perfect for hen parties or team celebrations. Weekend brunches come alive with live music, and our afternoon tea service brings a proper British touch to any celebration. The warm lighting from our copper herb pots creates just the right mood as evening falls, and our team knows how to look after groups - whether you're planning a milestone birthday, engagement party, or just getting friends together for a proper catch-up. We handle corporate events too, with our flexible spaces working well for everything from product launches to Christmas parties. From morning coffee meetings on the terrace to late-night cocktails in the bar, we've designed every corner to help your celebration flow naturally. Our events team works with you to arrange the space, menu, and drinks to match what you're after.
