Step into The Boot & Flogger and you're walking through the doors of London's first real wine bar, a piece of history that's been serving since 1965. We're tucked between London Bridge and Borough Market, where the bustle of the city meets the warmth of wood-paneled walls and well-worn leather chairs that have hosted countless conversations over the decades. Our building tells its own story across three levels, each with private rooms that feel more like a friend's study than a hired space. The courtyard catches the afternoon sun perfectly, and we've watched it transform from quiet business lunches to evening receptions where 300 guests have raised glasses under the stars. Every room has its own character - some intimate enough for board meetings where deals get done over proper British fare, others opening up for wedding celebrations that spill between spaces. We carve our meats fresh off the bone daily, and our kitchen takes pride in those Donald Russell steaks that regular diners book tables specifically to enjoy. The seasonal menu changes with what's best right now, but you'll always find proper puddings and a British cheese board that does justice to our wine selection. Speaking of wine, our cellars hold vintages from Davy's Wine Merchant that span decades - bottles we love introducing to curious guests during our regular tastings and masterclasses.
