Since opening our doors in May 2004, The Delancey has become a cornerstone of Lower East Side nightlife at 168 Delancey Street. Our three-floor venue offers something different on each level - from intimate live performances downstairs to cocktails under the stars on our rooftop garden. Step inside and you'll find yourself at our main floor bar, where hundreds of candles flicker overhead, casting warm light across the polished wood. We've created distinct spaces for every kind of night out: red velvet booths wrapped in silk drapes for those who want privacy, our chandelier-lined VIP room for larger groups, and the window room overlooking the street scene below. These spaces can be reserved nightly at no charge - we just need to know how many people you're bringing. Take either staircase up to our rooftop and you'll discover why regulars call it their favorite escape. We've built the only all-weather rooftop garden of its kind here, complete with tropical plants and views stretching to the Williamsburg Bridge. The retractable roof means we're open year-round - heaters keep things comfortable in winter, and in summer, the open sky creates the perfect backdrop for cocktails at our full-service rooftop bar. Our downstairs performance space runs as its own complete venue. We've installed professional backline equipment, a dedicated sound system, and lighting that touring bands actually compliment. The private bar down here means your group never has to leave the music to grab a drink. We host everything from emerging local artists to international acts, plus private events that want that underground music venue feel. Whether you're planning a birthday party, corporate event, or just bringing friends out for bottle service and dancing, our three floors can work independently or flow together as one massive celebration.
