Über The Dockyard Social
Inside our converted warehouse in Glasgow's West End, you'll find something completely different from your typical party venue. We transformed this old industrial space into The Dockyard Social, where up to 350 guests can celebrate surrounded by hand-painted walls, vintage brand neons, and the buzz of our rotating street food vendors. Our setup changes regularly with up to ten different food traders at any given time. Your guests might grab authentic pad thai from our Thai vendor, load up on pulled pork from the Southern American stall, or share Neapolitan pizzas fresh from the wood-fired oven. We've got eight food pods in total, plus our award-winning ice cream stand that everyone seems to photograph. The pop-up bars scattered throughout serve craft beers from local breweries, natural wines we've carefully selected, and cocktails that change with the seasons. What makes parties here special is how the space works. The former shipbuilding yard gives us these amazing high ceilings and industrial features that create natural zones for different parts of your event. We bring in DJs who read the room perfectly, and sometimes feature live bands on our stage area. The whole setup means your guests can move between grabbing food, finding a drink, and hitting the dancefloor without feeling cramped. We're fully accessible with level access throughout and spacious layouts that work for wheelchair users. Families love that we welcome kids and dogs too - it keeps things relaxed. For corporate parties, wedding receptions, or birthday celebrations, we can work with you to arrange the space however suits your event best. Through our Dockyard Social School program, we train local people in hospitality skills, so when you book with us, you're supporting the community too. The venue has this energy that just makes events work - industrial character mixed with great food and proper Glasgow hospitality.
