The Dolphin's meeting spaces offer something different from your typical corporate venue - we're a gastropub with dedicated private rooms right in central Newbury. Our main meeting room fills with natural light throughout the day and comfortably fits 36 people for presentations or 24 around the table for discussions. For smaller groups or when you need breakout space, we have an intimate room that works perfectly for up to 10 people. We're just a 4-minute walk from Newbury station, which makes us particularly convenient for teams coming together from different locations. Cross Country trains stop here via Reading, and if you're driving, we have our own car park - no hunting for spaces or feeding meters. The M4 and A34 are both easily accessible too. Our approach to corporate events reflects what we do best as a gastropub. Instead of standard conference catering, we prepare fresh breakfast and lunch options using seasonal ingredients from our regular menu. Coffee and tea stations run throughout your event, and our bar offers craft beers, carefully chosen wines, and cocktails for informal networking afterwards. The garden with its heated huts and pergola gives your team somewhere different to take breaks or continue conversations. We've equipped both rooms with full AV facilities, and complimentary Wi-Fi runs throughout the building. For multi-day sessions or early morning starts, we have five boutique bedrooms upstairs - each with comfortable beds and rainfall showers. Your colleagues can literally roll out of bed and into their meeting. Being in the town center means you're walking distance from Market Square and the Corn Exchange, with Newbury Racecourse nearby if you're planning any team activities. We regularly host board meetings, training sessions, and strategy days for businesses who want somewhere more relaxed than a conventional meeting venue.
