Red leather booths curve around dark wood tables while floral wallpaper catches the afternoon light through our Victorian windows - this is The Feathers, where we've been welcoming Westminster locals and visitors since our doors first opened on Broadway. Our striking façade still bears the Prince of Wales's feathers, a nod to the future Edward VII, and stepping inside feels like entering a proper British pub should. We take pride in our mezzanine level, which comfortably hosts up to 50 guests for meetings and private gatherings. The space sits above the main bar area, offering privacy while maintaining that authentic pub atmosphere. Dark wood paneling runs throughout, creating an intimate setting that works equally well for corporate presentations or team celebrations. Our upstairs function room provides another option for those seeking complete privacy. Our house Pale Ale flows alongside an extensive selection of cask ales, while the bar stocks everything from single malts to craft gins. The kitchen serves British pub classics - our steak and ale pie draws regulars from nearby government offices, and Sunday roasts fill the dining room each weekend. Every Friday, acoustic musicians set up in the corner, though the mezzanine remains perfectly suited for conversation. Being steps from Westminster Abbey and a short walk from Buckingham Palace means we see everyone from civil servants grabbing after-work pints to tourists discovering a genuine local pub.
