Über The Granary
Since 2006, we've been serving up comfort food and cold pints at The Granary on The Shore in Leith, Edinburgh. Our windows face the Water of Leith, and when the tide's out, you might spot the occasional heron fishing while you tuck into our famous Fish & Chips or the Granary Burger that regulars keep coming back for. Every Thursday at 7 pm, our quiz night takes over the main bar - teams battle it out while working through plates of nachos and local draught beers. Come Friday and Saturday, we clear space for live bands who fill the place with everything from folk to indie rock. The acoustics work brilliantly off our exposed brick walls, and there's always a good crowd dancing by the second set. For private parties, we've got the Jig Room upstairs that fits 80 people comfortably. The arched windows run along the entire wall, flooding the space with natural light during daytime events. We've hosted everything from wedding receptions to baby showers up there, and the built-in projector and AV setup means corporate groups use it for product launches and charity fundraisers too. The mezzanine level works perfectly for smaller gatherings - birthday parties love the spot because you can see the whole bar below while having your own private area with comfortable seating. Our kitchen stays open late, and we run a Market Menu deal Monday through Thursday - two courses for £19 or three for £24. The bar stocks a solid range of Scottish whiskies alongside our cocktails and wines. Whether you're booking the whole Jig Room for your wedding or just grabbing after-work drinks at the bar, we've got the space and the menu sorted.
