Six centuries of legal history permeate these walls at The Honourable Society of Gray's Inn, where barristers have trained and London's legal elite have gathered since before Columbus sailed to America. We've transformed our historic chambers into extraordinary spaces for dining, meetings, and celebrations while preserving every detail that makes this place special. Our crown jewel remains the Elizabethan Hall, where Tudor-era stained glass windows cast colored light across heraldic shields and historic paintings dating to 1462. Corporate dinners here feel more like state occasions, with guests dining beneath the same timber beams that have witnessed centuries of legal tradition. For smaller gatherings, we open the Large Pension Room, where crystal chandeliers illuminate the marble fireplace and create an atmosphere that turns board meetings into memorable occasions. Beyond our oak-paneled walls, we maintain five acres of private gardens—The Walks—hidden behind iron gates in the heart of Central London. During summer months, we install a fully equipped marquee with hard flooring and carpeting, creating additional space for everything from product launches to wedding receptions. The Rose Heilbron Room brings us firmly into the present with cutting-edge video conferencing technology, proving that 600-year-old buildings can absolutely handle modern business needs. We handle conferences, charity fundraisers, wedding celebrations, and corporate away days with equal expertise. Our team manages every detail personally, from initial planning through to the final toast. Just a short walk from Chancery Lane station, we're surprisingly accessible despite feeling worlds away from the bustle outside. Guests consistently praise our authentic Old English atmosphere and excellent facilities, though we'll admit our ancient building can be a maze—we're always happy to guide you to the right entrance when you arrive.

The place is fantastic! very old English. Meeting room was great for the training. The not so good is the signposting (there is none). Tricky to find you way into the place.
