Über The National Science and Media Museum

Our collection of original cinema screens and gallery spaces at the National Science and Media Museum transforms your Bradford meeting or celebration into something genuinely memorable. We've been hosting everything from corporate conferences to film premieres in these historic walls, where the story of photography and moving images comes alive around your guests. The Pictureville Cinema remains our crown jewel - 300 red velvet seats facing a proper cinema screen where we've screened everything from business presentations to award ceremonies. The stage accommodates panel discussions comfortably, while our projection team handles all the technical details with the same care they use for our film festivals. Down the corridor, the Cubby Broccoli Cinema offers a more intimate setting for 100 guests, equipped to show anything from vintage 35mm prints to the latest digital presentations. We find the Foyer works brilliantly for drinks receptions and exhibition launches. The glass façade floods the space with natural light during daytime events, while our LED system creates whatever atmosphere you need after dark. Our in-house AV team sets up everything from simple microphones to full multimedia displays. The Wonderlab gallery brings something different - your guests can actually play with our exhibits on light and sound during reception drinks. We've watched countless networking events come alive when people start experimenting with the interactive displays together. Meanwhile, the Kodak Gallery transports groups to a Victorian drawing room surrounded by our photography collection, perfect for those wanting an elegant dinner setting. Our kitchen team prepares everything on-site, from working lunches to three-course dinners. Bradford's central location means your attendees can reach us easily by train or car, with parking nearby. We handle the logistics while you focus on bringing your people together in spaces where innovation has always been celebrated.
