Our 19th-century pub on St Jude Street has been bringing people together since before anyone can remember. The Railway Tavern N16 spreads across a generous space that fits 70 seated guests comfortably, or we can clear the furniture for standing events up to 110 people. Two original fireplaces still work perfectly - we light them up during cooler months and they transform the whole atmosphere. The warmth from those fires mixed with the buzz of conversation creates exactly the kind of energy you want for a proper celebration. We've installed a PA system and Sonos surround sound throughout, plus mounted two TVs that work brilliantly for presentations or match days. The Italian Modena pizza oven in our kitchen gets fired up regularly, turning out proper wood-fired pizzas that guests absolutely love. We can handle all the catering ourselves or work with your preferred caterers - whatever suits your event best. Our team knows how to adapt the space for different occasions, from birthday parties where everyone's dancing, to sit-down dinners where conversation flows as freely as the drinks, to work functions that need a bit more structure. Dogs are always welcome here - we keep water bowls ready and a jar of treats behind the bar. Throughout the week, our pub quiz brings in the regulars, and live music sessions fill the space with everything from acoustic sets to full bands. Dalston Kingsland Station sits just a short walk away, making it easy for your guests to find us at 2 St Jude Street. The combination of our indoor space and small outdoor area gives you options for how to use the venue, especially during warmer months when people drift between inside and out.
