Our downstairs function room at The Three Lords has become the go-to spot for City workers looking to throw proper parties without the corporate stuffiness. We're right at 27 Minories, making it dead easy for your guests coming from Fenchurch Street or Liverpool Street stations after work. The space fits 50 people standing comfortably, or we can set up seating for 20 if you're planning something more formal. What makes our venue special for parties is the private bar - your group gets their own bartender and doesn't have to fight through the main pub crowds upstairs. We've installed a decent sound system down there too, so whether you want background music or to properly turn it up later in the evening, we've got you covered. Being an 18th-century pub (rebuilt in 1890), the room has character you won't find in modern venues - exposed brickwork, traditional fixtures, but with all the conveniences you need for a good party. We stock everything from imported lagers to British ales, craft beers and ciders, so there's something for everyone. Food-wise, our kitchen does Italian-inspired dishes, and our homemade pizzas always go down well at parties - proper fresh ingredients, not the frozen stuff. We host all sorts here - birthday parties, leaving dos, team celebrations, even the occasional work meeting that turns into drinks. The beauty is there's no minimum spend or hire fee, which takes the pressure off. You just pay for what your group drinks and eats. The space works brilliantly for after-work gatherings because people can pop down from their offices, have their own private area, and still enjoy that traditional pub atmosphere.
