Pour yourself a glass from our wine wall and you'll understand why we transformed this grand two-story former bank at 51 Gracechurch Street into something special. We kept the original architectural features and those impressive high ceilings that make the space feel both intimate and expansive—perfect for everything from casual after-work gatherings to full venue takeovers. Our self-pour machines put over 100 wines at your fingertips, letting you sample that curious Albariño or go straight for your favorite Burgundy. We've arranged multiple spaces throughout the venue to work for different group sizes, whether you're planning drinks for 20 colleagues or a standing reception for up to 250 guests. The craft beer wall adds another dimension with some of London's best independent breweries represented. We run cheese and wine tastings throughout the week, from introductory sessions for those just getting into wine to more focused artisan experiences. Our kitchen serves seasonal small plates and sharing boards designed to complement whatever you're drinking. The flexible layout means we can configure the space for seated dinners, standing receptions, or a mix of both. Being right in the Square Mile, we see plenty of corporate bookings—product launches, client entertainment, team celebrations. But we're equally at home hosting birthday parties, engagement drinks, or reunion gatherings. We open at noon Monday through Saturday (midnight close Tuesday to Saturday, 11pm Monday) and noon to 9pm on Sundays. The combination of our historic banking hall setting, the interactive wine and beer walls, and the ability to customize the space for your specific event makes Vagabond Monument particularly suited to groups who want something beyond the standard bar hire. We handle everything from intimate wine masterclasses to large-scale corporate receptions, always with that self-service element that gets people talking and exploring.
