Über Vinoteca Farringdon
The moment you descend into our wine cellar at Vinoteca Farringdon, you'll understand why groups keep returning to this intimate space. We've transformed what was once just storage into a candlelit private dining room that feels worlds away from the bustling streets above, yet we're just a short walk from both Farringdon and Barbican stations. Since opening our doors in 2005 near the historic Farringdon Meat Market, we've become known for more than just our carefully chosen wines. Our private room centers around a gleaming communal table that seats your entire party together - no awkward splits or distant conversations. The dedicated kitchen attached to this space means your food arrives hot and fresh, whether you're hosting a relaxed birthday dinner or a working lunch with colleagues. We've installed a projector down here for those who need to present during corporate events, though most groups prefer to focus on the wine and conversation. Our open-plan kitchen upstairs lets you see exactly how we prepare our seasonal dishes, and if you're planning a weekday event, our set lunch menu helps keep budgets in check. The cellar setting creates its own atmosphere - exposed brick, warm lighting, and yes, plenty of our wines lining the walls. We regularly host everything from product launches to anniversary celebrations down here. Our team handles the details while you concentrate on your guests. After your event, many groups browse our wine shop before heading home. We stock bottles from small producers alongside well-known names, and we're always happy to recommend something based on what you enjoyed during dinner. The combination of privacy, quality food and wine, and our central location makes this one of the most versatile function spaces in the area.
