The Oak View Restaurant sits upstairs in our clubhouse, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame the Herefordshire countryside and oak trees that give this space its name. We can accommodate up to 80 guests here, whether you're planning a milestone birthday party, anniversary celebration, or any gathering that calls for both dining and dancing. The built-in dance floor sets this room apart from typical function spaces. We've hosted everything from lively 60th birthday parties to elegant wedding anniversaries, and the flexibility of the space means we can arrange tables for formal dining, then clear them for dancing as the evening progresses. The rich blue carpeting and comfortable seating create a warm atmosphere that feels special without being stuffy. Natural light pours through the large windows during daytime events, showcasing views across our golf course and the wooded hills beyond. For evening celebrations, the room takes on a different character, with the dance floor becoming the focal point as guests move from dinner to dancing. We've installed a 65" screen and PA system, perfect for speeches, photo montages, or background music throughout your event. Our kitchen team prepares everything from relaxed buffets to three-course dinners, using ingredients from local Herefordshire suppliers. The Sunday roasts have become particularly popular for family gatherings, though we're equally comfortable creating bespoke menus for your specific celebration. We also provide flipchart facilities and complimentary Wi-Fi if you need to incorporate any presentations into your event.
