When October arrives and London's garden parties would typically end, we transform our courtyard into something rather special. The Winter Marquee rises from our garden like a glowing jewel box, its floor-to-ceiling windows revealing the warmth within while maintaining that connection to the outdoors our guests love. Step inside and you'll find yourself on gleaming stripped hardwood floors that stretch across the entire space. We've hung chandeliers throughout, and when combined with the transparent chairs and crisp white linens, the effect is both contemporary and timeless. The marquee comfortably hosts 80 for seated dinners, though we've seen it work beautifully for everything from 35-person board meetings to cocktail receptions for 120. What sets this space apart is its own dedicated bar, complete with chandelier lighting, giving your event that sense of having exclusive access to a private club. During daylight hours, natural light pours through those expansive windows, making morning meetings feel energising and lunch gatherings particularly pleasant. Come evening, the chandeliers take over, creating an intimate glow that transforms corporate presentations into something more theatrical and birthday dinners into truly memorable occasions. The heating system means your guests stay comfortable regardless of what London's weather decides to do, while the marquee's position within our courtyard garden provides a sense of escape from the city. We can configure the space for theatre-style presentations, classroom setups for training days, or cabaret arrangements when you want conversation to flow as freely as the drinks from that private bar. Available from October through mid-March, the Winter Marquee offers something our other rooms cannot: the feeling of being outdoors while wrapped in warmth and luxury.
