The 1 Foyle Room offers 40 guests space to gather where the North Sea becomes part of your event through our floor-to-ceiling windows. White walls and polished concrete floors create a clean canvas for your celebration, while exposed ceiling beams add character without trying too hard. We've watched countless parties transform this room, from cocktail receptions where guests spill onto our private terrace at sunset, to seated dinners for 32 where the coastal views become natural conversation starters. The space works particularly well for milestone birthdays and company celebrations, with room to dance once tables are cleared, or for more relaxed gatherings where people naturally drift between inside conversations and terrace drinks. Our built-in projector and PA system handle everything from background music to full presentations, while electric blinds adjust the natural light as evening approaches. The audiovisual kit includes microphones and screens positioned so everyone can see and hear properly, whether you're giving a speech or screening a celebration video. Local caterers we work with understand how to use Kent ingredients in ways that get people talking about the food days later, though you're welcome to bring your own catering team if you have specific preferences.
