When you take over Coopers' Hall in its entirety, both the Dining Room and Court Room become yours for the day. This pre-Georgian townhouse on Devonshire Square has been the backdrop to City celebrations and gatherings for centuries, and we maintain that sense of occasion in everything we do. The Dining Room forms the heart of most events here. Wood panelling runs the length of the walls, while chandeliers cast warm light across the space. We can seat 32 guests around the dining table when you're hosting a formal dinner, or clear the furniture to welcome up to 50 for drinks receptions. The high ceilings and generous windows create an atmosphere that feels both grand and intimate, whether you're planning a milestone birthday, corporate celebration, or wedding reception. Our Court Room works beautifully as a complementary space. With its red leather chairs and stately portraits, it accommodates 20 guests boardroom-style or 25 theatre-style. Many clients use it as a quiet area during larger receptions, or as a space for speeches and presentations. The natural light streaming through the windows keeps the room feeling fresh throughout your event. We handle all the practical details through our partnership with 'eve' by CH&CO. From canapés and cocktails to three-course dinners, our catering team tailors everything to your specific celebration. The building comes equipped with Wi-Fi, flatscreen TV, and conference call facilities, though most party hosts find the historic surroundings provide all the atmosphere they need.
