The Acorn Room sits just past our main reception, where the scent of fresh flowers mingles with the polish of warm wooden floors. We've watched countless celebrations unfold in this space, from milestone birthday dinners where families gathered around our long table to corporate awards evenings that had everyone on their feet toasting achievements. The room has this wonderful quality of feeling both grand and intimate at once. Those red and cream patterned walls catch the afternoon light beautifully through our windows, while the black chair covers with white sashes give every event that special occasion feel. We can seat 25 comfortably for dinner or configure the space for 40 standing guests when you want more of a cocktail party atmosphere. What makes The Acorn Room particularly special for parties is its flexibility. We've hosted everything from champagne receptions to quiz nights here. The wooden flooring means dancing is definitely on the cards, and our PA system handles everything from background jazz to party playlists. When birthday cakes emerge from the kitchen, the candlelit ambiance creates those perfect photo moments. Being on the ground floor means your older relatives won't struggle with stairs, and caterers can easily wheel in celebration cakes or buffet spreads. We're right in the heart of Pendley Manor's 32 acres of Hertfordshire countryside, yet Tring station is just minutes away for guests travelling from London. The space works brilliantly for drinks receptions before moving to our larger rooms, or as a self-contained party venue. Our projector and screen mean you can share photos or videos during speeches, while the natural daylight keeps afternoon celebrations bright and cheerful. For evening parties, we dim the lights and let the candles and floral centerpieces create that perfect party glow.
