Our Main Function Room transforms throughout the day from morning sunlight streaming through the large windows to evening celebrations under warm wall sconce lighting. We've hosted hundreds of parties here, from 21st birthdays where the dance floor stays packed until midnight to golden wedding anniversaries where guests appreciate the comfortable round-table seating. The room comfortably holds 120 guests for drinks receptions or 100 for seated dining. We arrange the space differently depending on your celebration - round tables dressed in white linens for formal dinners, or cleared floors for dancing when the DJ starts playing. The neutral walls and adaptable lighting mean your chosen decorations really pop, whether that's balloon arches for milestone birthdays or elegant florals for wedding receptions. Your guests will appreciate having their own bar right in the room, staffed by our experienced team who know exactly how to keep drinks flowing smoothly. We stock everything from local ales to cocktails, and because we're a members' club rather than a commercial venue, the prices stay reasonable. The bar becomes a natural gathering point during events, positioned perfectly so guests can chat without blocking the dance floor. French doors open onto our terrace overlooking the cricket pitches, giving your celebration extra space and somewhere quieter for conversations. Summer parties often spill outside, while winter events feel cosy inside with the curtains drawn. We're easy to find just off the motorway network between Manchester and Bury, with our own car park holding 50 cars. The entire space has level access throughout. While we don't handle catering directly, we work with excellent local companies who know our kitchen facilities well and can provide anything from finger buffets to three-course meals.
