The Verney room sits at the heart of our manor house, where traditional wood paneling meets the needs of modern business. We've kept the original carved details and that magnificent chandelier, but everything else works exactly as you'd expect for today's meetings. Natural light pours through the windows overlooking our fountain and that ancient cedar tree we're rather fond of. It's quite something to watch the seasons change during quarterly reviews or strategy sessions. The room handles up to 50 people comfortably, though we find it works brilliantly for smaller board meetings of 25 around the main table. We've tucked all the tech you need into the traditional setting, Wi-Fi, projector, PA system, and conference call facilities that actually work properly. The fireplace isn't just for show either; on winter days, we light it up and it completely changes the atmosphere. Teams tell us it helps them think differently when they're away from their usual conference rooms. The flexibility here is key. We can set it up boardroom-style for 25, theatre layout for your full team of 50, or cabaret tables when you want workshop groups. U-shaped works well for training sessions with 22 participants, and we've hosted some lovely private dinners for 30.
