The Musgrave Room at Civic Trust House opens onto Pope's Quay through tall Georgian windows that flood our boardroom with natural light throughout the day. We've centered the space around an impressive antique table that comfortably seats 10 people for board meetings, expanding to 20 when we bring in our matching tables. For larger presentations or workshops, we can arrange theatre-style seating for up to 34 guests. Our 86-inch television screen mounted on the wall connects seamlessly with laptops for presentations, while our sound system ensures everyone can hear clearly during video conferences and hybrid meetings. The overhead visualiser proves particularly useful when groups need to share documents or demonstrate techniques. Recently, we installed brass picture rails along the walls, transforming the room into an exhibition space when local artists need a professional setting for their work. We include tea, coffee, and biscuits for groups up to 12 people at no extra charge. For larger gatherings, we provide refreshments at €2 per person, and we're happy to coordinate catering from our preferred local suppliers who know exactly how to work within different budgets and dietary requirements. Our reception team handles the practical details – from greeting your guests at the door to managing any printing or photocopying needs during your meeting. We've been supporting Cork's arts community from this restored Georgian building since 2006, housing several non-profit arts organisations under our roof.
