At Ard Ri House Hotel, we've been welcoming business groups to our meeting facilities here on Milltown Road in Tuam for years. Tom and Sally McHugh built this place with conferences in mind, and now with Jean Browne managing day-to-day operations, we've really perfected our approach to hosting productive business gatherings. Our 51 bedrooms mean your team can stay onsite without the morning commute hassle - each room has its own en-suite bathroom and all the standard amenities business travelers expect. We've noticed many groups appreciate being able to walk straight from their rooms to the meeting spaces without navigating through a huge hotel complex. The meeting rooms themselves work well for different group sizes and setups. Our dedicated conference staff handle the technical details - from projector setup to ensuring the Wi-Fi actually works when you need it. We'll arrange the room however suits your agenda, whether that's boardroom style for strategy sessions or theatre layout for presentations. Between sessions, attendees usually gather in Dick Dowling's Bar or grab lunch in the Kiltevna Room Restaurant. Our kitchen sources ingredients locally, and we're used to handling various dietary requirements - just let us know what your group needs when booking. The food tends to be hearty Irish fare that keeps people energized through afternoon sessions. Getting here is straightforward via the M17 Motorway, about 30 minutes from Galway City. Some groups take advantage of our location to add team activities - Connemara's landscape makes for good walking meetings, and the Wild Atlantic Way offers plenty of options if you want to extend your stay beyond business. We're a family-run hotel that happens to do conferences well, not a sterile business center. That seems to work for the companies who keep coming back.
