George Orwell used to drink here, and we've been pouring pints since 1730. The Newman Arms has watched Fitzrovia transform around us, but we've kept the things that matter - proper beer, good food, and spaces where people actually want to spend time. Our ground floor bar pulls over 10 draft beers through the taps, with Big Penny's core range sitting alongside rotating guest beers we handpick each month. Behind the bar, you'll find our signature cocktails, a wine list we've built up over the years, and plenty of non-alcoholic options for those who prefer them. The room fills with after-work crowds most evenings, but there's always space to find your spot. Head upstairs and you'll discover our famous Pie Room. We reopened it recently after giving it some love, and now it's back serving the pies that made us a local legend. The whole room can be yours for private parties - it's where birthday celebrations happen, work teams decompress, and friends catch up over proper British comfort food. Down in the basement, we've created intimate snugs perfect for smaller groups who want their own corner. These little hideaways work brilliantly for everything from date nights to business meetings where you need to actually hear each other talk.
