Our Georgian mansion stands fifteen minutes from Bath's city center, surrounded by 135 acres of private Somerset countryside. At Farleigh House, we've preserved the character of this Grade II listed building while creating functional spaces for today's meetings and conferences. The Grand Hall serves as our main conference space, with original period features providing an inspiring backdrop for presentations. Our Ballroom accommodates larger groups, while the Library Bar offers a more intimate setting for board meetings or breakout sessions. The Drawing Room and Music Room work well for smaller workshops, and the Garden Room opens directly onto the grounds for those who prefer natural light and garden views during their sessions. We've found that our corporate clients appreciate the flexibility of having multiple rooms available. Teams can spread out across different spaces for breakout discussions, then reconvene in the Grand Hall for presentations. The grounds themselves become an extension of our meeting facilities - we often see groups taking walking meetings through the parkland or using the lawns for team-building activities. Our catering partners source ingredients from local Somerset farms and producers. Whether you need working lunches, formal dining, or coffee breaks between sessions, they'll work with your schedule and dietary requirements. We can arrange everything from simple sandwich platters to full banquet-style meals in our dining spaces.
