Tudor Barn Eltham stands as London's only surviving Tudor barn, a remarkable 16th-century timber structure that we've carefully preserved while adapting it for today's celebrations. Our home sits within 13 acres of parkland at Well Hall Pleasaunce, completely encircled by an ancient medieval moat that reflects the building's oak beams in its still waters. Our main event space, the Tudor Gallery, showcases the barn's original architectural features - heavy wooden beams crossing overhead and period stained glass windows filtering natural light across flush white walls. We can arrange this versatile space for 180 seated guests or accommodate up to 200 for standing receptions. The gallery transforms beautifully whether you're planning a wedding breakfast, corporate presentation, or evening party. Beyond the gallery, we operate a gastropub where locals and visitors gather for traditional British classics, afternoon teas, and our popular Sunday roasts. During warmer months, we open up the front lawn and Moat Terrace for al fresco dining, while winter brings guests inside to warm themselves by our fireplace. When you book an event with us, you'll have exclusive use of these spaces too. Our kitchen team offers flexible catering to match your vision - from formal three-course dinners to relaxed BBQ buffets and hog roasts on the lawn. We also prepare finger buffets for less formal gatherings and can work with you to create custom menus.
